Brittany - Certified Obedience & Reactivity Trainer
Brittany began her dog training journey in Worcester, Massachusetts, with her own two beloved pups, Link, a Parsons Terrier-Beagle mix, and Navi, a German Shepherd mix. Growing up surrounded by animals, Brittany always dreamed of turning her passion for dogs into a lifelong career. After years of training her own dogs and helping others with theirs, she joined Off Leash K9 Training in 2021, making that dream a reality. With an extensive background working with animals, Brittany specializes in obedience training and has successfully worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. She is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and sharpening her skills, regularly attending professional dog training seminars and educational events. Brittany has participated in multiple advanced training seminars, including those taught by renowned trainer Larry Krohn, where she gained additional knowledge and hands-on experience working with canine aggression, reactivity, and behavior modification. She believes that great trainers never stop learning and is dedicated to staying current with proven, effective training methods to provide the best possible results for every dog and family she works with. Her expertise, combined with her gentle demeanor and genuine love for every dog in her care, sets her apart. Brittany is passionate about helping owners achieve safe, reliable off-leash freedom through balanced training and proven e-collar communication, giving dogs the confidence to explore while remaining responsive and under control. When she's not training, Brittany loves exploring the beautiful hiking trails of New England alongside her own dogs. Her passion for outdoor adventures inspires her mission to help other families enjoy the same freedom and confidence with their canine companions.

Kerry - Certified Behavior & Obedience Trainer
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Kerry now resides just over the border in Litchfield, NH, with her partner and their two beloved dogs, Amo and Duce. A lifelong animal lover, Kerry’s days are filled with adventure—whether she’s riding horses, caring for a variety of animals, enjoying the beach, or spending quality time with any pup she meets. Kerry has a deep understanding of dogs and their unique needs. She specializes in behavioral modification, tackling challenges head-on to help every dog reach their full potential. With an approach rooted in compassion and curiosity, Kerry takes the time to discover what motivates each dog, using that insight to keep them engaged and excited about learning. While in Kerry’s care, your pup is sure to feel the love—she’s known for showering them with cuddles, kisses, and plenty of encouragement. Whether she’s working with dogs in her backyard, strolling through the outlets, or enjoying a walk on the beach, Kerry integrates real-world environments into her training to ensure lasting success. Having been with Off Leash K9 Training for several years, Kerry brings both experience and passion to her work. She thrives on the challenges of her role, from refining obedience skills to resolving behavioral issues. Her ultimate goal is to build strong, confident partnerships between dogs and their owners. Owen - Certified Obedience Trainer
Owen grew up in Ipswich, MA, and now resides in Lynn, MA, on the North Shore with his wife, two young children, and their Belgian Malinois mix, Otto. His lifelong love for dogs began with his family’s pets and grew into a passion for training, especially after rescuing Otto. This experience inspired him to transition from a decade-long career in Boston real estate to becoming a professional dog trainer with Off Leash K9 Training. Owen has a special soft spot for working breeds, appreciating their drive and intelligence, and he brings this understanding into his training methods. Known for his thoroughness and dedication, Owen creates tailored training experiences for every dog, treating Board & Train pups as members of his own family. His goal is to empower owners with the knowledge and confidence to fully integrate their dogs into their lives, ensuring a long and happy relationship built on trust and mutual respect. With several years at Off Leash K9 Training, Owen is highly skilled in safe, proper E-Collar training and positive reinforcement techniques, which he applies to help dogs achieve reliable obedience and a well-balanced demeanor. Owen’s commitment to each dog and owner shines through in every aspect of his work. Whether helping working breeds channel their energy or guiding families toward a harmonious bond with their pets, Owen is passionate about creating lasting transformations that lead to happier lives for both dogs and their humans.

Colby - Certified Behavior & Obedience Trainer
Colby is a professional dog trainer who has been working in the field since 2018 and currently resides in Newbury, Massachusetts. Her passion for animals began at a young age, having been raised on a small farm where she gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of animals. Her love for dogs, in particular, started when she was just 11 years old, when she took the initiative to post an advertisement for dog walking services at her local corner store—marking the beginning of her journey into the canine world. In 2018, Colby began focusing on off-leash obedience training and has since dedicated herself to mastering the craft. She has worked alongside multiple trainers, gaining exposure to a wide range of training methods and philosophies. Committed to continuous growth, Colby actively seeks out new learning opportunities to further expand her knowledge and refine her skills as a trainer. Colby owns five dogs of her own, all of which have achieved impressive accomplishments across various disciplines. Her dogs hold titles ranging from championships in the show ring to competition obedience and high-drive performance sports, reflecting both her expertise and dedication. Her passion lies in helping owners build strong, reliable relationships with their dogs by providing them with the tools, structure, and education needed for long-term success. Colby’s ultimate goal is to empower owners to fully enjoy their dogs, giving them the freedom to become confident, well-behaved companions both on and off leash.

Chalanda - Certified Behavior & Obedience Trainer
Based in Salisbury, Massachusetts, Chalanda has dedicated nearly 15 years to helping dogs and their owners build stronger, more rewarding relationships through practical, individualized training. With extensive professional experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, she has helped hundreds of families transform their dogs into confident, reliable companions they can enjoy both at home and out in the real world. Before becoming a professional trainer, Chalanda spent over a decade leading structured pack hikes, where she worked with hundreds of pet dogs in real-world environments. This unique experience provided her with an exceptional understanding of canine body language, social dynamics, confidence building, and off-leash reliability. Watching dogs communicate naturally in group settings gave her invaluable insight into how dogs think, learn, and interact with both people and one another. Today, Chalanda works with everything from young puppies learning their first commands to family companions, behavior modification cases, and competitive sport dogs. She believes every dog is an individual, which is why she tailors each training program to fit the unique needs of both the dog and its family. Her balanced training philosophy emphasizes clear communication, consistency, accountability, and trust, creating dogs that are confident, obedient, and capable of succeeding in everyday life. Her mission is to strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners while providing the knowledge, guidance, and support needed to achieve lasting success. Whether helping a family gain control of an energetic puppy, rebuilding confidence in a fearful dog, or addressing more complex behavioral challenges, her focus remains the same: creating a well-mannered dog that owners can confidently take anywhere.
